Ivan

this video rocked me.

made me cry.

made me think.

made me wonder.

and then just made me mad.

are we doing enough?

clearly, we aren't. yes, there are many people who are doing amazing things. maybe tomorrow i will post about all of them but still...
babies are dying from malaria.

MALARIA.
a preventable disease.

how can we keep on living life like this isn't happening.

we can't. it makes me so mad that i am not doing enough.
i am really struggling with how we (my family) are living because it just isn't right and things need to change. fast. jesus did not sit around and live life while people .... mothers, sons, daughters, fathers, sisters, brothers....died. not ok.

  1. I TOTOALLY agree with you!!!! I want to do more as well!!! It's not OK for them to be dying and us not to be preventing it in some way!! After going to Uganda with SafeWorld Nexus, and actually meeting people who were sick from Malaria, I know I have to help! SafeWorld Nexus is doing all they can to help prevent malaria in Uganda. Here's their website: http://www.safeworldnexus.com/

  2. That was heart-breaking. The lady in the video who lost her baby has already suffered 21 years of brutal war. It makes me feel like doing something radical with my life when I see things like this!
